Pittsburgh, Pa. – Steel City FC (3-3-1) claimed their second consecutive victory Sunday, June 23, when they rallied in the second half with two goals to defeat the Lehigh Valley Tempest 3-1 at the Ellis School on Fifth Avenue. The victory was the last regular season home contest for the Women of Steel. The Tempest (2-3-1) took an early lead just 3:30 minutes into the matchup off a 35-yard blast from midfielder Alyssa Ryan. Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC And Charleston Battery Duel To Scoreless Draw

By Rachael McKriger A hard-fought, intense and even match between the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC and Charleston Battery ended in a scoreless draw on Saturday. A total of 2,862 fans showed up at MUSC Health Stadium for the even match. The possession scaled tilted slightly in the favor of the Charleston Battery. The Battery earned a slim 50.2 percent of possession over Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh did take more shots, though. In total, the Riverhounds SC attempted five shots, while Charleston only booted three shots. For both sides, one shot registered on goal.
